Heavy heart

It's sunny outside and the birds are singing but my heart feels heavy right now for the friend who's emailed me saying how dificult her marriage is at the moment. Her husband is being horribly verbally abusive. She lives a long way away so all I can do for her is pray. I totally believe in the power of prayer but sometimes I struggle to believe that my prayers can make a difference, when I don't know what to say and they seem so inadequate. Just have to believe that they will.
