Time to get on with it
Computer refusing to upload any more pictures, I'm going to have to do prayer bulletin.
Today
I'm meant to be typing prayer bulletin but putting it off as it's hard work.
Have had lots of rain. Quite drizzly today.
J gone into town with friend Adam, going to go to cinema.
Better get on with prayer bulletin I suppose.

Update
Update:
- Dad back home, doing well he says.
- J better, back at school Friday.
- P has had cold, still coughing.
- J went to course on how to be eco-friendly on Saturday, P & I spent day wandering round village, eating cake in tea-shops & going for walks in fields. Because ground so dry & hard quite easy to push wheelchair on footpaths. I don't usually manage to go for country 'walks'. Really nice day, felt like when we used to go out before we were married. J enjoyed day too. Bit concerned he's going to start nagging me about having too many lights on & too much bath water.
- Weather is lovely but poor farmers are really suffering.
- On Friday I actually finished & sent off an essay for my theology course. Now keep checking emails every few minutes to see if it's been marked.

J sick
J sick, off school. So John not coming round. So me straining myself hoovering yesterday & doing it for so long that hoover over-heated & I think is permanently damaged was all for nothing.
Nice to have a cleaner house though.
Poor J. Hope he's better soon.

What???
Whadya mean: 'Mum & Dad when John comes round on Thursday can you try & behave like normal people?'
Saturday
On Saturday we went to visit my dad. He's doing quite well, going to be in rehab ward for 2 weeks. A bit confused cos of drugs.
Had a nice time afterwards going round a craft centre & to beach. In tea rooms at centre they had china cups & silver spoons.

Crazy driving
Today I saw the craziest thing: I was driving home & approaching quite a busy roundabout, this car came round with the driver on the phone & then he stopped at my exit & the passenger asked the driver in front of me for directions on the roundabout.
I don't know.

Sunday
Here are some pictures from the boys' treat day out we had on Sunday when we went to a model aeroplane flying day at Old Warden. They have a Swiss Garden there as well & we went into it for the first time even though we've been going there for years. As you can see it's beautiful. I was going to put in some more pictures but J is now on the other computer doing homework.
The boys had a good time although it was a bit windy for flying. The Lancaster came over really low while we were eating our lunch.
Half way through the afternoon I had a call from my brother to say my dad had had a fall & broken his hip. He had an op on Monday & is doing fairly well.

Determination
Aaah wasn't the Royal Wedding lovely & she looked beautiful. I watched it nearly all day. The only thing which is a bit puzzling is he's like some day going to be head of the Church of England & haven't they sort of been living together for the last few years? Hmm
On Saturday we went out for a walk by a river & it was seriously cold in the wind. On Sunday we had the Unity Fun Day at which half of me was hot (in the sun) & half of me was freezing (in the wind) so I huddled up in our picnic rug & people kept laughing at me. Apart from that people seemed to have a good time. Becky's oldest son was going round telling people his girlfriend's pregnant (this being his child, the little girl she's got now has a different father). It makes J having dyslexia pale into insignificance. Becky's not a happy bunny as she doesn't feel this is the right girl for him & was hoping they would drift apart. In between telling people the news he was arguing with his sister like a 10 year old. Sadly there are two children who have a very uncertain future.
In August I put my name down for a personal ministry appointment at the healing centre I go to in Surrey. On Saturday they phoned & said could I come yesterday! P found he could manage it & we set off at 6.50 leaving J to get the bus, letting himself out through the French Doors. 9 miles down the road J phoned - we'd locked all his shoes in the porch. There was no choice but to go back. We managed to make it just in time. The prayer time was very worthwhile though & we dealt with a lot of stuff. One of the people praying with me said how determined I am, keeping on after all these years of looking for healing but I said to him I've come this far I'm not giving up now. And I'm not.
